1.7.1 - viewer - selection - issue with SHIFT

XnViewMP 1.7.1 64bit
Windows11 (23H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%
Viewer - selection
To reproduce:
1. open any image in Viewer
issue A
2. hold LMB, move cursor to make selection (do not release LMB)
3. press SHIFT, move cursor a little bit
4. release LMB
OR
3. hold RMB, move cursor a little bit
4. release RMB
new selection alike rectangle appears at the place of size tooltip
selection becomes unusable and disappears if switch focus to another app
expected behavior
- SHIFT should work as expected
- RMB not to interfere with the selection process
issue B1
same issue with Crop panel
2. hold LMB, move cursor to make selection
3. press SHIFT, drag corner point to change selection to square
sometimes it's not possible to change selection size

2. hold LMB, move cursor to make selection
3. start dragging corner point, press SHIFT to change selection to square
4. release SHIFT and LMB
5. start moving selection OR switch focus from application
selection will return to previous size
