The new AI background remover ist amazing.
Is it possible to remove the background and leave the removed area in a second layer?
This will be a nice feature to modify the picture, if the AI remover destroy important areas of the picture.

XnView doesn't manage layers, can copy background in clipboard?

In PDF, TIFF, etc. files it is possible to switch between the layers or sides.
This kind of solution I would like to see for background remover.
But if it is too complex to realize, you can leave the removed background in clipboard.
So everybody can paste it in a new file to connect both images cropped object/person and removed background to a layered file in another picture program.
That is a good solution!

PDF and TIFF are file formats that support multiple
images which can be stepped through, and in general each image will have its own background, although exceptionally the background in each may be the same or similar.
So you are requesting an option to remove the background in the first image, assumed to be similar in all images, to all images in a multipage PDF or TIFF?
