Picture mismatch via clipboard inserting in Thunderbird Mail

Dear Team i often use the opportunity to resize a picture and then copy the picturecontent (Ctrl-Shift+C) to the clipboard and paste the picture in Thunderbird. The picture was always damaged. It seems that a Column with some pixels, that should be on the left, were insered on the right side.
I have tested with other picturesoftware (MS Paint and Paint Shop Pro) and there ist no problem instering pictures in new mails from Thunderbird (latest version). Pasting the picture from XnView MP in MS Word or MS Paint for Instance is correct. Hm where is the bug?

Bug report - Template (please copy into a new topic and fill out):

Subject: 1.6.5: crippeld pictures from clipboard in Thunderbird

XnView: MP 1.6.5 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 11 64bit Build 23H2

A Column with some pixels, that should be on the left, were insered on the right side.

Effect: <picture was crippelt>

To reproduce:
1. Open a picture in XnView MP
2. Copy the picture content to the Clipboard (Ctrl+Shift+C)
3. Change the focus to a new mail in Thunderbird
4. Paste the picture in a standard HTML Mail

This behaviour i see a long time with many versions of XnView and Thunderbird. I also tested it with another PC with the same result.

Actual behaviour (bug): <Crippelt picture via Clipboard in Thunderbird> :bug:
