XnView: MP 1.65 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit

1: (bug ?)
the selection of Categorie words to assign the picture ist not possible with a double-click of the mouse from the selection-field "textfile"
it is well working at "history" and "database" but not from "textfile" (imported)

2: (proposal)
there is no hotkey to save the changes to the picture, it's only with a mouse possible
proposal:
write = strg + s
write all = strg + shift+ s

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.7.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
