XnViewMP 1.6.5 64bit
Windows11 (23H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Browser - filelist
history is purged only when Browser tab is opened

To reproduce:
1. have some history in xnview.ini, eg

Code: Select all

[Start]
History=C:/test1, C:/test2

2. open any image in Viewer, make sure there is no Browser tab is opened
3. goto Settings > Interface
- check ☑ "Purge 'Recent files and folders' on exit"
- press Purge button
- press OK
4. close app
history has not been deleted

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
