Viewer and fullscreen scrolls two images

I have a strange scrolling problem under macOS. I use a Logitech MX Master 3S and when scrolling with the mouse wheel, XnView MP always scrolls two images forward in full screen and in the viewer.
The effect only occurs if the "Smooth scrolling" option is activated in the Logitech software "Logi Options+". Apparently this function sends another short scrolling impulse after each mouse wheel turn, which scrolls to the next image in XN View MP.
