File List > Companion files documentation

Hi, I have problems getting the hide/show companion files to work (V1.7.0).
My goal is to have JPG as the master and hide (or show) RAF,NEF,XMP etc. files.
Can someone please point me in the right direction to find documentation on the correct/best way to make the association list for companion files?

Some clarification

I know where to change the Companion Files association list.
In fact I had it working for years with this: But now after latest upgrade it always shows all files, no matter if the "Show companion files" is unticked or not.
------------------------
To test, I uninstalled XnView completely, including the %appdata%\XnViewMP folder,
reinstalled V1.7.0 and
boiled the list down to this, where I guess
Line 1 will hide .xmp files
Line 2 will show .jpg files and hide .raf files
- but no luck, all files are always visible.
------------------------
Any ideas....?
BTW, what does the token {raw} mean?
Is this stuff documented somewhere?
