Windows11 (23H2), display resolution 3840x2160, win scaling 150%

Viewer - drag and drop
few issues

To reproduce:
0. clean unziped app version
1. open any image in Viewer

issue A
2. drag and drop .txt file
it will be opened, but tab name is <Empty>

issue B
2. drag and drop 2 unsupported files, eg .docx
<Empty> tab and 2 error messages (File can't be loaded) will appear
3. press OK on one error message
- wait for a few seconds
app will crash

Always with 1.8.8?

looks like it has been fixe in 1.8.1

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
