Since it was added to XnView MP, can you add it in nconvert too, please?

I've seen it was added (in XnViewMP 1.7.1, I think). However, for me it always fails with the following message shown in a dialog window: "An error occurred during saving!"
Currently I'm running XnViewMP 1.7.2 on macOS Sonoma 14.5 on a "M2 Pro"-based MacBook Pro.
Is there any way I can generate a more verbose log, so it can help you debug this?
