Is there any way to sort by dimensions?

Windows have some "dimensions" sorting that sort images looking at their width and height and it is super handy in folders with a lot of files to find duplicates or similar images but either the "image size" and "ratio" of xnview give me different sorting results than windows.
Is there any way?

In the browser View > Sort by has Image Width and Image Height options... :D

That's in XnView MP 1.7.1, I'm not sure when they were added.

Yeah I know but that isn't what I need, dimensions considers both at once, that gives the proper results

Presumably 'width x height', the image area?

Speaking about 'Image size' sorting option, I see few issues:
- it refers to Properties column
- Properties column has "WxH, M" values

Suggestion
I think its better to:
  • rename 'Properties' column to 'Image Dimensions' (see ACDSee example)
  • add new 'Image size' column
that works similar to File size column, displaying decimal value in pixels with Auto scaling (eg GP,MP,KP,P OR Gpx,Mpx,Kpx,px OR just use MP and move decimal separator). Functionality to disable 'Auto scaling' can be handy as well, same as Display file size in bytes checkbox for File size column.
