Why can't some images in different formats be viewed by double-clicking them, such as .bmp and some files with modified extensions, while they can be viewed in the Classic version?

The .bmp format has been associated, but it still can't be opened from Explorer and viewed directly, but the Classic version can
There are many other formats like this. Files with modified extensions can be recognized and opened with the Classic version, but not with the MP version, which can only be opened with the built-in file manager.
