Simultaneous annotation and categorization of related RAW and JPG files

Hello everyone,
I own a Sony Alpha 6600 and create my photos as RAW (.arw) and JPG files.
After importing them using XnViewMP, I select, annotate and categorise the photos in XnViewMP. To do this, I initially only use the JPG files that are labelled as companions to the respective RAW files.
When deleting bad photos, the associated RAW files are also deleted along with the JPG. However, when commenting on the photos (description) and categorising the photos, I have to manually align the RAW files with the JPGs in the second step, which is annoying and time-consuming.
QUESTION: Is there a hidden switch in XnViewMP that I don't know about that allows simultaneous annotation and categorisation of related RAW and JPG files, such as the sidecars for deleting/copying/moving/renaming?
I look forward to your answers!
