NConvert 4.16 (for OS/2) - jpeg lossless rotation broken?

Hi,
recently I started playing with nconvert 4.16 for OS/2.
By and large I really like it, thanks for the good work and thanks for still supporting OS/2.
Now I wanted to use the jpeg lossless rotation feature on a few pics of mine and it appears that lossless rotation is broken in version 4.16:
The following commandline should IMHO do the job:
nconvert -jpegtrans rot90 File.JPG
With 4.16 nconvert says it did the rotation but the picture IS NOT rotated.
Using version 3.87 for OS/2 it works as it should.
Am I doing something wrong with 4.16 or is this really broken?
Kind regards,
Herwig B.
