dynamic thumbnail-border size

didnt find anything on this topic.
is this possible?
eg. you have a fixed thumb height. so you have thumbs that are more wide than high (desktoppix) and you have the viceversa (din a 4 magazine-scans). the latter have always a big inside border wasting space.
would it be possible to wrap the window around the thumb, eliminating the space left and right of the thumb?

Very interesting idea. Auto-shrinking the thumbnail's canvas? I have not seen it.

i still think this would be a great idee,
to be a little more specific a screenshot:
<Moderator's note: link removed. Try again.>
so what i ment is to erase the black areas of the nice vertical shaped thumbnails

.
is this possible?

sorry, didnt know that this is a catholic network.
this is too childish, i am not trying again.
at least you could have left the comment and the link so this doesnt look like censorship.

You knew exactly what you were doing when you posted the original screen capture: after all you selected which folder to snapshot and must have expected a response similar to the one you received.
Why should you wish to provoke some of us?
Beautiful photos of beautiful ladies, in beautiful lack of attire, and I for one enthusiastically support such images!
Only: elsewhere, not here! The XnView forum is a global community and there are many different cultures represented among us.

@JohnFredC:
i chose any folder, i dont have other pictures

.
completely harmless nude/non nude thumbs, if it would be porn i could have understood it, but this??
who do you want to safe from a naked breast?
and why didnt you just post a link to the picture then with a notice: attention, only for people over the age 6..
sorry, but some people can just exaggerate moral safety

The moderation team doesn't want pictures of nude men or women here in the XnView forum. Even links to such contents must be avoided and are deleted right away. This is not mentioned in the
forum rules and guidelines - it's simply something we expect.
Please use other pictures as sample files - the web is full of free pictures you can download and use. Or describe your problem without pictures and screenshots. Thank you.
THE solution !

Hi All !
• I guess that these issues could be solved just adding some
»Your body is not indecent, only the way in which you watch it can be…«

Good answer, Clo!

I wonder how difficult it would be using the
Paint Plug-In of XnView.

In this forum the rules are set up by the moderators. If the rules are not appreciated, tough luck. And if its important for you to claim your political/moral standpoints, there are probably better places to do it than on a forum for an image viewer.
No matter what my personal reflections on nude images are, its just plain stupid to link that kind of image and think you wont get any reactions.
IMO the moderators acted correctly by deleting the link.

So you would like a 'auto crop' on thumbnail?
