Return to just shown image in browser

Scenario:
- I have currently selected image number 20 in the browser.
- I then press ENTER to show this image
- I press SPACE some times until I am at image number 25.
- I press ENTER again to return to the browser

Now I am back at image 20, not 25 - I think this is a bug (or missing feature).

Oh, I forgot to say:

Thank you for this really great program!
I just uninstalled ACDSee 6 because it really sucks... every time I defragment my hard drive, it shows me that the ACDSee catalog / image cache consists of about 30000 fragments!

What version do you have?

Go to Options > Browser > and enable option "Synchronize Browser...".

Ok, found it.

I use the German version 1.80.3, and "Browser-Auswahl mit aktueller Ansicht abgleichen" sounded kind of weird...

Sorry...

Wording is important---

:) Hello !

- Although I'm almost useless at German, I'm always interested in wordings for the programme ;)

abgleichen” = “ (to) balance ”… Reported to English (and to French too "équilibrer"), this sounds in fact a bit odd…

« synchronisieren » ? Humm… Seems valid for image and sound (only ?), for instance in a movie…
… though it's used in the Total Commander German language about folder-contents (wrongly in that case)…
However, it's quite clear in English (and French) like you point out.

« zusammen » ? = “(to) match”, could be logical… Image

• Anyway, I bet that Helmut'll have pleasure in informing us about his opinion.
- AFAIK, he's very demanding about German language (and I think he's right!)

Now that I know what it's for, the sentence makes sense, maybe "synchronisieren" would be a bit better, but it's ok.

Thanks!

I've just changed this from "abgleichen" to "synchronisieren". Thanks Clo & Owyn for this hint. :-)
