XnView Software

Hi!
Trying to install the XnView-deb 1.8.0 (What I am doing regularly) does not work.

I get unfulfillable dependencies (see screen shot) I could find out, that during upgrade from Linux Mint 12.3 (based on Ubunto 22.04) to LM22 (based on Ubuntu 24.04) libglib2.0-0 was removed and libglib2.0-0t64 was installed instead.

I heard, that there are renamings made on some (many?) libraries, and that libglib2.0-0 no longer exists in Ubuntus repositories.
I heard from one user that he could successfully install 1.8.0 on fresh installed (not by upgraded) LM22.

I think, libglib2.0-0t64 could do the job oflibglib2.0-0.

I could use the flatpack, of coarse, but I don't want to change my habits, as I upgraded XnView with the deb-files for a long time, without any troubles.

Edit: did the job.
XnView installed without any problems and is working,

I am wondering if I was the only one having this problem.

En testant la ligne

sudo dpkg -i --ignore-depends=libglib2.0-0 XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb

j'ai l'erreur suivante :

dpkg: erreur: ne peut pas accéder à l'archive « XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb »: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce nom

Que faire ?

Es-tu dans le répertoire qui contient le fichier ?

Je ne pense pas.

Comment faire pour se placer dans le répertoire qui contient l'architecture ?

Cette question n'a rien à voir avec XnView.
Si tu n'as pas de connaissances de base en Linux, tu ferais mieux de t'adresser à un forum Linux.
