XnView: MP 1.8.0 64 bit
OS: Windows 11 64bit

Version 1.8.0 cannot open OS/2 BMP files. It shows the error message : "File can't be loaded!". It opens Windows BMP files fine.

The example BMP file was saved from Photoshop using the BMP saving dialogue to switch to OS/2 format.

This is a new bug in 1.8.0 as version 1.7.2 opened OS/2 BMPs fine.

Sample OS/2 BMP file attached. This can be opened in 1.7.2, but not in 1.8.0

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
