1.8.0: After saving a file, next/prev disregards applied filter

After saving a file, navigating next/prev disregards the applied filter
Effect: Lose my place when editing a batch of images
To reproduce:
1. give three non-adjacent images in a folder 3 star rating each
2. in the browser, set a filter of >= 3 star
3. double-click the second file
4. save the file
5. navigate to the next image
Actual behaviour (bug): next image does not have 3 stars
Expected behaviour: we should navigate to the third file with 3 stars
