With the program closed, i double click an image and the program opens maximized (not fullscreen) as i have set it up.

I am not closing the program but i hit minimize button and the program goes to the taskbar (not at the notification area) as i want it to.

Now if i double click another image the program is not restoring to maximize showing the file but it stays minimized at the taskbar (not at the notification area) until i select and click it to maximize.

With the same sequence but with the program not maximized but say half the screen this is not happening and it works fine.

I had to go back to v1.5.5 for it to work ok.

the newer versions doesn't support win7 x64;

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
