Hi,

When I'm browsing images in Browser and double-click an image in Preview, it opens in Viewer. If I continue browsing in Viewer and double-click another image, I switch to Browser. So far, so good. Here's the thing though. The image I double-clicked in Viewer is selected in Browser but the preview still displays the first image. Is there a way to make XnView MP display the selected image in Preview?

I know there is an option "Select file in Browser when Viewer tab is closed" and it works. But it's rather inconvenient to have to close the viewer tab every time I switch between Browser <-> Viewer.

looks like a bug
also there is no such issue when doing Browse > Fullscreen (change image) > Browser

0. have 2 files in folder
start with file
1. open 1st in Viewer via double click in win explorer
2. press Enter to open Browser tab
3. press Enter again to return to Viewer tab
OR
start without file
1. run app, in Browser tab navigate to the folder
2. select 1st file
3. press Enter to open it in Viewer tab

4. (in Viewer) navigate (scroll/arrows) to the 2nd file
5. press Enter to return to Browser
2nd file is selected in filelist, but preview shows 1st file

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
