If I open some image and next export to this same folder, image in this tab will be changed on file from left.
If I delete file and I have open image in tab from this folder, this image will be changed on image from right.

Please repair this issue quickly. This is a very annoying bug.

Viewer should not switch from an open file (dirty or not) if file before it in filelist has been deleted
to reproduce
0. have 3 files in folder (1.png, 2.png, 3.png)
1. open 2.png in Viewer
2. delete 1.png in Browser tab or win file explorer
Viewer will switch from 2.png to 3.png
expected
Viewer should keep 2.png open (dirty or not)

I cannot reproduce
Viewer tab does not switch to another file when adding new file(s) to the current folder (neither instantly nor after Ctrl+R).

Set browser sort to date and new file on top.
1. open image in tab
2. Use function Export (Ctrl+Alt+S) and save file to that same folder
-- or --
1. open image in tab
2. copy from other folder NEWER image than that opened in tab

which tab are you having issue with - Viewer or Browser?
Viewer tab always keeps opened file for me when adding new files.
Sorting order/direction is global (set in Browser), plus there are additional settings that affect it for the new files (Settings > Browser > File list)

record a video if you still have an issue

Of course Viewer tab have issue.
Additional setting I have ON sorting alphabetic and OFF put new file on the end list.
If I have in tab some image from middle browser tab, bug is only that if new file will land on left in browser tab. If new image land on right, there is no switch file in viewer tab.
This same is when I delete/move file – bug is only when this file is on left from the image opened in view tab.

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.2. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
