1.8.2 linux/wayland: UI fonts too small

i'm using the version 1.8.2 on linux with wayland and plasma 6.2.2, qt 6.7.2
But, the user interface is waaay too small,
the fonts in the tree-view on a 4K screen are barely readable
the only fonts i can configure are those of the main UI (view > info > font)
In previous versions, this wasn't a problem at all....?
My setup:
laptop with built-in screen 2880x1800@125%, ext. 4K screen 3840x2160@100%
Any help on this?
