When I try to losslessly rotate a read-only jpeg (using Windows 2000, XnView 1.68.1) it fails silently. The dialog closes without error, but the file remains the same.

I'd like it to ask me "OK to modify read-only file?" - or at least tell me that there was a write error!

Good point, XnView should really support the user and give a hint that the file is read-only and/or let the user choose whether he/she wants to apply the transformation or not.
