XnViewMP 1.8.2 on Linux Mint 22:

After a "metadata->edit IPTC" on a webp photo the change cannot be saved since the "write" button is disabled/greyed out.

After a "metadata->edit XMP" on a webp photo the change can be saved only by pressing "alt w" since the write button isn't vsible: The bottom part of the metadata form is cut off at the bottom of the screen.

Although the XMP comment is saved, it isn't displayed on the photo in fullscreen mode in a new XnView session unless I perform a new "alt w" operation.

Also, the "alt w" workaround seems to work only in the english language version. in German it doesn't work.

IPTC is not supported by WebP

Many thanks.

Please remember that forcing a "write" oeration by "alt w" seems to work only in the english language version of XnViewMP. Is this true also if the "write" button is clicked instead?

Also remember that the XMP comment is displayed on the photo in fullscreen mode only if in every new XnViewMP session the write operation is repeated on the "edit XMP" dialogue for every photo, although the XMP comment has already been saved successfully.

All these effects occur on the Linux Mint 22 platform and don't occur on Mint 21.3.
