Hello,

is there a function to search for a specific meta text in selected images and replace it with a new text?
= search & replace

Example:
I want to replace the entry "Text-2" in all images with "Text-2-new".
Proposal for a new funktion: "search & replace"

A workaround :
Create > Filse list
Select these fields :
{Directory}{Filename With Ext},{IPTC:Caption}
use a comma as separator
Generate the text file
Use search and replace in a text editor ; save
Change the header : Filename,IPTC:Caption
Change the extension : csv instead of txt

Use Exiftool to import this file into your photos . This step is a bit tricky, I don't know if i'll have time to get the right syntax for exiftool these days

If your captions contain commas, you'll have to use another delimiter (option -csvDelim ";" for semicolon )

" Zoner Photo Studio X " has this funktion, and it works very well.
