In Batch convert, on the Output tab, the Format Settings... save options on the PDF tab, display for Grayscale and Color save options a Quality setting window, see the following screenshot:

Screenshot from 2025-02-22 16-25-41.png

First issue: The display of the value entered is truncated;

Second issue: What is that setting when saving to a PDF file? The loaded file is a PNG, so if it represents the compression at which the PNG is to be saved in the PDF, the format is not displayed in the usual 0 to 9 scale. Tested in 1.8.6, similar in 1.83.

And a third issue: Why was I able to make that screenshot, when normally I can't capture an open dialog: user0? :wink:

So previously reported but not amended yet, there is a limit to what one developer can reasonably do quickly.

That leaves the first issue, that the display of the value entered is truncated.

And comment on the third issue welcome, I have for some time been puzzled that screenshots of open dialogs weren't possible, when I recall making them regularly before.

In Linux Mint I use the printscreen key, but other methods that I tried briefly also don't work... :?:
