Hi,
since Version 1.8.4 the "Border" action of "Batch convert ..." does not work correct!

Please, have a look at the attached screenshots for details.
There is a resize action before but that doesn't affect the generated border/frame.

Do you need further information?

Best regards
Ludger

P.S. Forgot to say ... Environment is Windows 11!

Version 1.8.3:
XnView 183_Batch Convert Border+Frame_1.jpg
XnView 183_Batch Convert Border+Frame_2.jpg
Version 1.8.5:
XnView 185_Batch Convert Border+Frame_1.jpg
XnView 185_Batch Convert Border+Frame_2.jpg

Bonjour!
thank's for having a look at this ...
Enclosed I supply a test file for you coming together with the results of the convertion once processed with 1.8.3 and once with 1.8.6. There is also the parameter file (as a 7z archive)... I hope you can reproduce the problem.

À bientôt
Ludger

... I already sent the script ... it is included in the 7z archiv!

Here it is again as a zip!

Please note that I use 2 "Border actions" with 2 frames each!!!!

I think what happens from 1.8.4. onwards is that the 1. "Border action" is skipped when there is another ""Border action".

Thanks a lot for your efforts!

... or somehow "overwritten" ... in 1.8.3. the 2nd "Border action was "added" to the result of the 1st "Border action" ...

you need to use 'enlarge' on second border action

Bonjour Pierre,
just using "enlarge" doesn't give the same result as using this with version 1.8.3.!
The processed image is then 20 pixels smaler in each dimension (in this example 2612x1846 with 1.8.6. vs. 2632x1866 with 1.8.3. ...
Changing the 4th border to 166px results in the same size as before but the turquoise "photo" seems to be smaller!!! I must get a tool to mease the exact amount of pixels. Please check the enclosed jpg files!

The algorythm seems to be somehow different. I depend on getting the same results as before because I want the photos in my flickr gallery all having the same border!

Best regards
Ludger

Bonjour Pierre,
it works when I use "enlarge" for both "Border actions"!

Seems that the "enlarge" option was introduced with 1.8.4. ...

So this is resolved. Thanks very much for your support!

Cheers
