There is one feature in ACDSee 7 that I like and it is the ability to create multi-frame video thumbnails. Ever thought about giving xnview this feature?

Could you post a screenshot, please?

There are such thumbnails also in Disk Explorer Professional 3 (freeware):

Or do you mean something like animated GIFs? 5 frames, 1 frame = 1 second?

Anyway, there should be an option to set time (%) of thumbnails, I don't want thumbnails from e.g. 80 or 90% of the movie, maybe 10, 20, 30, 40, 50% would be good.

I support this request, but more information about files (video / audio) i more important IMO.

I meant something like the thumbnails you posted, not animated gifs.

Also ACDSee gives you option to set the initial percentage of the movie to skip when making the thumbnails and the option to set how the thumbnails are display (4x4 like my thumbnail or 5x1 like your thumbnails).

I'm not saying it is an immediate issue, just something the author might want to think about.
