Layout and change of language

XnViewMP 1.8.6 64Bit Windows 11

HI,
Layout of XnViewMP is not kept when changing language.
Even is you save the configuration (for example : "enregistrer la disposition A" in french), when you restore it in English (restore layout A) you get something corrupted.
Meanwhile, if you get back to the previous language, you can restore the correct layout.

In short, layout are not change of language compatible.

i'm not able to reproduce. what is not correctly restored?

After choosing my language, I also changed my layout to a different one than the default. I saved, I left, and I use this layout all the time. But to make savescreen, I changed language to English, and then after restart the application, I have the default layout, different from me choice. After returning to my native language, the layout returned to me choice.
This bug is very old.

I can't find this file. There is no that file in .ini folder.

Hi Pierre,

I'm using Layout 1 for the test.
PS : I rename the layout1.dat in layout.dat.png because the newsgroup don't accept ".dat" file !

Strange : I'm unable to attach the layout.dat even if I rename it.

I open layout1.dat in Notepad++ and do a screen capture .

You find also two others screen capture : the layout1 in french language and the layout1 in english language. You notice the difference.
If I get back to french, I get also the right layout.
