Using current win10 and 1.8.6 (also failed on 1.7.1 version).

DJI Osmo Action5Pro cam generated photos and videos on SD. This cam creates .lrf (low resolution files of mp4 files of same file name) The MP4 videos would not transfer using video rename scheme through import/sort from folder with only .lrf and .mp4 files in it.

(LRF files are low resolution vid files created by Action Cam and there is no way to turn them off.)

Temporary workaround: Moving .lrf files to another folder, and only .mp4 files in folder, Import/Sort is able to import/rename .mp4 files.

(if photos are also in the import folder with mp4s, Photos properly import and rename but mp4s still fail to import without error.)

please send us a sample folder and screen of 'import&sort' dialog

Sent a link to test folder and dialogue for import/sort by pm to xnview.

It fails the same way in win10 or win11, with current version of xnviewmp.

Don't know why pm failed. I just sent pm with link again (4/20/25) with subject header "Import/Sort fails to import videos in a certain situation LRF" to user xnview.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.9.0. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
