Oh my goodness, I've finally made it! The registration process has been a struggle for weeks.

The registration itself goes through, but the activation email simply doesn't arrive.

And finally... here I am with my significant issue: when attempting to add copyright information to an image's metadata (specifically under IPTC fields) for WebP files, I unfortunately encounter the following error message upon clicking 'Write.' I've been unable to find any solution for this.

An error has occurred during processing. Please make sure that files are not read-only

it's an error, you can't edit IPTC on webp, only XMP

Might a separate message like 'IPTC cannot be edited on WebP files' be better?

Yes, this would be more clear and direct.

there is no such metadata in WebP format
