XnView Software

Hi Folks, I am new to XnView Software and so far find it very good. I was using Photo Mechanic plus until recently. I am trying to find a way to NOT display .xmp files when I use view-Thumbnails but cannot figure it out. I suspect that there is a way but as a novice cannot see it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
