XnView Software

I can't play videos in XNView MP on one of my computers.
When I doubleclick on a video, XNView freezes. Any video format, any codec.
Pressing F3 to play in VLC player works OK.
I have two PCs, and use XNView on both. On the other PC it works OK.
The PC has three monitors of different sizes.
I suspected there was something wrong with the PC, so I formattedf the harddisk and reinstalled XNView. And that helped, video worked OK. But when I had reinstalled all my software, the problem came back. Video freezes every time.

So it may be something with my PC or other software? Any ideas?

so, what software cause freezes?

I don't know, I should have checked for each app I installed :-/

Now, this is strange, I have found out more:
I have 3 screens, two at 3840x2160, scaling 200%, one at 1920x1080, scaling 125%.

• If I run XNView on the smaller screen and open a video, it freezes.

• If I run XNView on a large screen and open a video, it works!

• If I run XNView on a large screen and open a video, close the video, move the XNView window over to the smaller screen, and open another video, it works!!!

So it seems like it's not software, but I always have to start on the big screen, then I can move XNView to the smaller screen???
OK, I don't understand this, but I can live with this workaround.
