Good question, it happens all the time in one folder and not the other folder!

Ok, it has something to do with non-desktop resolutions like 499x800 (dpi 72) or 910x729 (dpi 72)
Others like 1200x1800 (dpi 100) and 1024x554 (dpi 100) are perfect.
Update:
This bug has nothing to do with resolution, it's 72 DPI thats the problem, my other pictures that are 100 DPI don't have the problem.

I can confirm all bugs.
Bugs on the left with all images if I:
- use thumbnails size 64x48
- switch to thumbnails view
- press Ctrl+R
- switch to thumbnails & details view (F9)
And bug on the right always if I:
- use thumbnails size 64x52
- switch to thumbnails & details view
(Desktop res. 1024x768)

BTW I think you meant 64x64 in the second paragraph.

Bug still exists in RC3 but isn't as bad as before.
