Subject: 1.9.2: Freeze when switching rating filters in folders with large number of files
XnView: MP 1.9.2 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 11 - 64-bit
When browsing a folder containing a large number of files (10,000 to over 100,000, including subfolders), switching the rating filter (e.g., ">=3", "=3", "<=3") occasionally causes XnView MP to freeze for several minutes, and in some cases up to tens of minutes.
This issue did not occur in version 1.9.1 under the same conditions.
Effect: Application becomes unresponsive for extended periods when toggling rating filters in large folders.
To reproduce:
1. Open a folder in XnView MP containing 10,000 to 100,000+ image files, including subfolders.
2. Switch the rating filter several times (e.g., from ">=3" to "=3", then "<=3").
3. Observe application performance.
Actual behaviour (bug): Application freezes for several minutes (or longer) when switching rating filters.
Expected behaviour: Filter switching should be immediate and should not cause freezing, even in folders with large numbers of files.
