My environment:
- XnView MP v1.9.2
- MacOS 12.7.6
- Macbook Pro 15" 2015
Under Catalog Filter view, I could see the trees of Album and Categories.
I found the UI (context menu and toolbar button) for associating selected photos to a category, these photos will show up under Categories tree. However I can't find the UI for (1) creating album (2) associating selected photos to an album. Could someone share where this UI located? Thanks.

Nothing happens when right clicking "Album" label and icon on my computer. Double click will expand/collapse the empty Album tree though (based on tree icon > change). Probably worth mention, right click works fine in Folder pane and Favorites pane.

This doesn't appear to be a general issue with XnViewMP — on macOS 15.5, creating albums works as user0 described, at least for me (XnViewMP 1.9.2).

I see. Good to know that at least it works in macOS 15. Too bad my macbook supports only up to macOS 12.
