I wish to say thank you to the developers that XnViewMP (now 1.9.2) is still running on Windows 7. That is awsome. :D

:D but 1.9.x will be the last version for Windows 7 :(

Why? Is that technically totally and absolutly nessecary? Is it an unreasonable effort to maintain this backward compatibility? What would not be able to develop in XnView when it has that backward compatibility?

The UI component is no more compatible with Windows 7, only Windows 10+
