Automate slideshow and keep on second monitor?

This may be a feature suggestion if there is no way to resolve this within the current slideshow feature.
I'ven been using an ancient version of xnview (downloaded Nov 2015) solely to display a slide show on the 2nd monitor. I just installed MP on Win10 to use as a photo manager as well - great product! After having resolved catalog update error 13 (deleted old xnview.db) and then figuring out the solution to get the slideshow on the second monitor in three parts
#1 - Preview on second monitor;
#2 place slideshow dialog on 2nd monitor;
#3 for batch file invocation, also start nxviewMP on second monitor
I can now run a command in a batch file, e.g,
But hitting <ESC> with focus on 2nd monitor closes the slideshow, closes xnview and then everything reverts to the main monitor if I run the START command again.
It would be great to be able to specify a monitor in slideshow settings!
Cheers,
