Interpolation method for arbitrary rotation

When resizing you can choose which interpolation method to use (they differ in slow to quick, low quality to high quality, kind of transformation etc.).
But for the other of MP's geometric transformation - rotation - there isn't anything like this.
I couldn't even find which interpolation method is used.
It seems to be either bilinear or cubic - i.e. not very good.
I don't use MP for that.
So my suggestion to allow choosing the transformation method
and to have some really good ones at hand (nowadays there are even AI ones).
