No moving of individual windows possible [Solved]

Hello everyone,
I’m using XNView MP on Ubuntu (Linux). When I open a photo for editing and then open an additional editing window (e.g. curves), this window almost completely overlaps the photo. I cannot move this window (e.g. curves) independently. I can only move both windows together. As a result, I cannot see the effect of the changes. Is there a setting to change this? The solution is probably quite simple, but I just can’t find it :(

EDIT: I think it is a problem with Ubuntu ---> here is a similar problem: https://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=37520. Is there any solution? Thanks!

Yeah, I’m starting to think the same. I’ve already looked all over Ubuntu’s settings, but I just can’t seem to find the right option :( . Anyone got a tip?

I think I've found it :D . In the Gnome extension "Optimizations," the "Modal Dialogs" tab had to be disabled under Window - Click Actions.
