Installed XnView a while ago. After a while, it got stuck whenever I started it: I get the first screen with the cursor as sandglass, and that's it. The only way out is Ctrl-Alt-Del and stopping the programme, which yields a microsoft error-reporting message.
Un-installed and re-installed; after a while (say, 3 or 5 usages) the problem returns. Unless a solution is found, the only thing I can do is find an alternative software. Not good :(

Hmmp :?

What XnView version you are using?
Have you tried to rename your xnview.ini?
Do you have cache on?
Have you tried to delete the cache?
What operating system you are using?
...

I guess that this is a cache problem. Try to delete all files in the cache folder in XnView installation directory and then try if XnView works.
