Set Rating not remembered for new files in directory

XnView MP: 1.9.5 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit
When a new file is created in a directory that XnView is currently browsing, any Set Rating settings are not remembered.
Effect: After setting the Rating of a new file that appeared in the XnView browser, browsing to a different directory, then browsing the original directory again, the previously changed Rating for that file will have been lost.
To reproduce:
1. Browse a directory in which another program, like ComfyUI is actively generating new images.
2. When a new image file appears in the XnView directory browser, select that new file and set its Rating. Use either Metadata -> Set Rating -> Poor..Excellent or Ctrl+1..Ctrl+5.
3. In XnView, browse to a different directory, then back to the original directory.
Actual behaviour (bug): The Rating assignment for the new file will not be present.
Expected behaviour: The Rating assignment for the new file will be present.
