I found XnView on the web.
My problem: I have to
insert the recordingdate and time of each picture onto the picture.
Is this possible with XnView? I only found the possibility to insert text!
Thanks for any help or a link to a tool which can realies this.

Inserting fields like "image name", "image size", or other image information during batch conversion would be a very nice feature, but currently XnView does not support this. Perhaps Pierre can add this...

I have a similar question about adding text while batch converting. I'd like to add the filename to the picture.
I don't think it is possible to do this with nconvert, I tried with the % placeholder but it did not work.
By the way : thanks for the canvas background color choice while resizing in batch conversion.

Hi,
I also would like to use the ADDTEXT in the batch convert. I found the filter but it seems that it uses as text whatever is typed into the parameter field.
I use XNVIEW 1.70.4. What I want is to insert the filename into a couple of images. Is that already possible ? If yes, how should the parameters look like ?

Pierre, this feature would be really useful. Will it make it into XnView 1.71?

Embossing the filename (with/without extension) would be adding another most helpfull feature added to an already fine app.
Many thanks in advance!
