People, PLEASE. This was discussed SO often! If you really have to add something new (i.e. other than just "I want ___"), use one of the existing threads instead of creating new ones over and over again.
And no, wxWidgets is not a better idea. You can find more details in at least one of all the other threads where the topic was discussed.
