I have tried several different slideshow programs so far. But with none of them I could burn pictures and AVI videos on a CD for a slideshow. I tried Picasa, IrfanView, Nero, Magix and finally cam to Xnview. This program is the first that is capable to play full screen AVI files in a slideshow. But why doesn't the program save the video files when I want to burn the slideshow on a CD?

Maybe I have to explain what I'm looking for:
I don't want a video-slideshow like most of the programs do. I want to have pictures (7MPixel) and videos (AVI files made by a Canon digital camera) with a viewer program on a CD. The viewer should start with the "autorun" function on the CD. So that I can give the CD as a present to friends. They can watch photos and videos and also can make a printout of the pictures. Also those viewer programs like Picasa, Xnview or Irfanview can show the pictures in full screen on the high resolution PC screen. I don't want to look 7Mpixel photos on a poor TV / DVD resolution.

Yes, Xnview doesn't include the videos on the CD. The same slideshow on the hard disk everything is fine (photos and videos).
Is there an option "include video files" that I haven't found yet?

I have found a way to include videos: Xnview includes MPEG2 videos on a CD but no AVI made by a Canon digital camera. Maybe this is for somebody good to know.

Another question: Is there a way to make several different image folders on a CD with Xnview let me to choose which one should start as a slideshow?
