Xnview 1.82.3 on Windows XP SP2

Have some JPG files in a directory. Put some short comments in some files. Switch from differents views (different Thumbnails, Icons, List, Details...) and activate the 'Comment' column if not. Everything is correct.

Put a very long comment in one of the last files. Switch from differents views - NOT THUMBNAILS ones - (Icons, List, Details...). Everything is correct. Then switch to 'Thumbnails & Details' view. Drop down to the file with long comment : Xnview crash.

PS:Not tried with other file format.

Xnview 1.82.3 on Windows 2000 SP4 : same problem.

The limit is 255 car. for the comment without problem in 'Thumbnails & Details' view.
With 256 car, the file is displayed without any detail.
With more then 256 car, Xnview crash in WXP and W2K in 'Thumbnails & Details' view.
With more then 511 car, the comment is truncated.

Same problem with JPEG and TIFF.
