XnView is flickering when switching modes

Every time I want to switch modes (with any button and with any action), XnView screen flickers a few times and then loads.

It also happens when opening images from explorer in fullscreen view. At first, the image is shrunk and there is a large gray horizontal bar below it, and after the few flickers, it shows correctly.

Now, this is not some sirious issue, but it's very irritating.

Anyone knows how to fix it?

Which options do you have in option/general/Switch modes? And how do you switch modes?

I have double click setup up as Browser <> Viewer and middle and enter as Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen

I always change modes with double click, from explorer or from XnView directly.

When you use F11, you don't have flickering?

But you have flickering too? Could you try to disabled option/Browser/Thumbnail/Use high quality and try again F11?

Then it's ok, but in that case, xnview occasionally crashes.

I open the pic from Windows Explorer in view mode and then it crashes when I doubleclick on the image to open the browser.

Hum, perhaps you have a bad file in this folder? If you open the folder in xnview?

No bad files... It happens regardless what folder I choose.

:) Hello Pierre !

• No problem here in the case, but Eddie1506 didn't say anything about his hardware configuration…

- This could be related to a graphic-card¦its driver¦the amount of video-RAM¦the amount of global free RAM¦Which OS ?…

 Kind regards,
Claude
