XnView Software

I want to make XNview my default viewer but for some reason windows is not letting me.

If i go to "my computer" (I am using XP home) and select open with and check always open with this programe no matter what i do it will not open the photos with XN view.

I can scroll to the directory where it is and select it but it will not open with XN view.

I can go to XN view programme and open the photo that way.

Any ideas?

You should use XnView's own association options for this.

Open XnView -> Tools menu -> Options -> Associations
