Why can't I open more than one file to another program? Sometimes I would like open about three pictures at once with Photoshop. Why do I have to do that seperately for each picture? (XnView 1.82.3, Win XP)

XnView is my everyday Image-Explorer. From there I want to open files to work with other programs. I select them and open them with that tool (right-click on mouse). For one file it works fine. But in the current version it does not when I selected more than one file! With older XnView-versions it worked out.
Did I made my problem clear?

When selecting multiple image files in browser and then right-clicking to open the context menu, one can see that all actions (e.g., "Open with associated program", ...) in the context menu are deactivated (greyed out). Is this what you mean, Burnett? I think that that's a bug.

• Very odd : I got it working ONCE, then *peanuts* !!!
- Even closing¦restarting XnView 1.82.4 !
- I tested icons with "Imagine" (stand-alone, supports several instances)

• However, it works fine here with 1.80.3, as long as the the programme with which you want to open the images accepts several instances…
- I tested icons with "SnIco", it's OK

Opening multiple files with 1 chosen program is possible through menu but not right click.

Menu> Tools> open with> Program#1 (it is not greyed).
Right click> open with> Program#1 (it is greyed).
