Change view mode option & directory "looping"

XnView is my favorite image browser. I have tried ACDSee (good, but commercial), and IrfanView (not as good as XnView). I have tweaked all the settings to my liking, and now XnView is almost perfect.

My two requests are:

1. The ability for Enter/MMB/double-click to switch modes between the browser and fullscreen. You currently have other options, but not the ability to switch exclusively between these two modes.

2. I'd like XnView to have the option to cycle back to the first image in a directory after the last image has been viewed.

Great image viewer. Merci beaucoup.

:) Hello !
1. The ability for Enter/MMB/double-click to switch modes between the browser and fullscreen. You currently have other options, but not the ability to switch exclusively between these two modes.
• IIRC, this has been requested here… In fact, the most times the MMB is a switch pressing the wheel… Here, I've the original “gesture” feature such as, and I guess that such an option is not very useful while you can simply press F11 to get full screen <—> browser (and I'm not a keyboard-maniac at all !)…
2. I'd like XnView to have the option to cycle back to the first image in a directory after the last image has been viewed.
- This exists already :
Options >> View >> File-list >> tick the box : Loop on the file-list.

 Kind regards,
Claude
Clo

Thanks!

Thanks, Claude. Both of your suggestions worked great for me. XnView is now perfect. ;)

Guess I missed that looping option in the File-List menu. I looked for the search term "loop", but the help file didn't pull it up. Oh well.

Thanks again,
saehn

No request(s), so moved to "General Support".

Loop on the file-list doesn't work in Browser full screen. At least not backwards.
